Cub Scouts meet on a Wednesday evening during term time from 6.45 pm to 8.15 pm.

Cubs is the second section of the Scouting movement, originally started in 1916. Based on the Jungle Book the Cubs are split into packs that are led by an adult leader called Akela with the other adult leaders or helpers having character names from the book. Within the pack there is a Sixer and Seconder, these are older cubs that help Akela but also manage their pack.

We offer a programme of exciting and challenging activities, both inside and outside of the Scout Hut for our members so that they can achieve awards and badges, including the Chief Scout's Silver Award.

Our Cubs wear a dark green sweatshirt and a polo shirt, together with a 1st Chelford green with red trim Group scarf (known as a necker) and woggle.
